Tony Thurling meets an oral surgeon who combines entrpreneurial flair with Yorkshire grit.
A TRIP to the dentist can spark a panic attack for some, but oral surgeon Dr Ebi Bamgboye has a unique way of reassuring his patients.
Known as the 'singing dentist', Ebi, 57, likes to croon along to hits on the radio to put patients at Kings Capitol Clinic, Dodworth, at ease. Some of his favourite artists include Elton John and Gladys Knight and the Pips.
He said: "I'm a specialist oral surgeon and patients are sometimes very nervous when they come to me. "Then when they see this guy singing along to Elton John, they think 'what have I got myself into?' and then they start to laugh."
